Điều kỳ diệu của sự lạc quan

Posted by: WittyRuby on: September 27, 2008

5th clinical day (Labor & Delivery Unit)

Posted by: WittyRuby on: September 27, 2008

I was on Labor and Delivery Unit. I expected to observe a vaginal birth, but there was none going on. The unit was slower than usual. There was only about 4 clients in the morning, and one of them did not want to have students. I was hanging around for a while, and then helped [...]

4th Clinical Day (Mother-Baby Unit)

Posted by: WittyRuby on: September 20, 2008

This week’s clinical day was more as an observation day for me. I followed S.J. to assess a baby, and this time it was not as easy for me to listen to the baby’s breath sounds. This baby’s heart beats were not as strong and clear as other babies I had, so it’s harder to [...]

Any man of mine

Shania Twain

This is what a woman wants…
Any man of mine better be proud of me
Even when I’m ugly he still better love me
And I can be late for a date that’s fine
But he better be on time
Any man of mine’ll say it fits just right
When last year’s dress is just a [...]

Khi ta 30

Posted by: WittyRuby on: September 19, 2008

“Đàn bà ba mươi đã thoát ra được những viển vông tuổi đôi mươi. Họ không cần lãng mạn, một sự ấm áp, một khoảnh khắc đẹp, mà mong muốn sở hữu, muốn có con, có người tình, những điều có thật trong đời. Mơ ước của tuổi ba mươi đã thật hơn, đã không [...]

Hum, I’m searching resourses for my paper in maternal nursing class. Over the last hour, I found a bunch. This should be a good start.

3rd clinical day (Labor & Delivery Unit)

Posted by: WittyRuby on: September 9, 2008

This week’s clinical was another fantastic day for me. I got to see 2 Cesarean sections. The nurses were very good in explaining things and let me have some hands-on experience.
The first C-section case I saw was carried out because the baby was in a breech position. There was a mistake among the caring team that the mom had [...]

  • Stretching Your Way To An Active, Pain Free Lifestyle December 6, 2009
As you age, your muscles tighten and range of motion in the joints can be minimized and hinder day-to-day movement. The human brain, when properly functioning, is a complex mass of protoplasm capable of staggering mental feats. So what causes eventual memory loss or cognitive decline?
